. The cameo and the setting are
in excellent condition - no defects to note

Any dark areas on the gold setting in the photos are shadows - the gold is intact with no dents, tears or repairs.
I believe the scene depicts Venus with Cupid, but these cameos are often open to interpretation. The setting is acid tested as 14k. It measures 1 13/16" (46 mm) x 1 7/16" (36 mm) x 5/16"
(8 mm)
not including the straight pin. The cameo
measures 1 9/16" (40 mm) x 1 3/16" (30 mm).
The total weight of the cameo and setting is 9.8 grams. It will come in a gold-foil gift box. Please s
