The Merry Muscles can be used in many styles of homes.
As well as hanging from a wood door frame, it can also be hung from the ceiling.  The small hook that comes with the Merry Muscles can be screwed into a solid wood stud or beam.  See photo of the hook.
Or, if you have an exposed ceiling beam, at the time of purchase you can ask for an "extra-long" chain with an "extra link" so you can loop the chain around the beam, and secure the loop with the specially made "extra link".
Or, if you have an extra-high ceiling, you can ask for an "extra-long" chain at the time of purchase.
(Be sure to message us with your ceiling height if you need an extra-long chain.)
You can also hang the Merry Muscles from an outdoor swing set, tree branch, or other sturdy support.

The metal hoop that holds the bungee cord suspension, protects baby's head from hitting the doorway.

Hangs from a small hook which is included.  The hook does not require any tools to install.  Just screw it into any solid wood by hand.  If you are putting this on a door frame, the hook goes into the part of the frame that is overhead, does not interfere with door closing, and makes only a tiny hole.  See photos.  The hook can be left in place or removed and the hole filled in after you are done with the jumper.  Extra hooks are available.
