    This item that I am listing was a mystery to me… I found this information on line:
    Bench stop with a thumb screw for adjusting its height, it is marked ENGLAND PAT No 598219 it is reportedly made from a die cast zink alloy, it is suggested that they are a must have for as a planing aid for a work bench, but surprisingly hard to find. They are to be set in flush to the bench top. Approx 1 1/2" x 2 1/2", 3/8" deep body, 1 3/8" overall depth when closed!
