    Description:
Primitive 36" steel bar WOODWORKING CLAMPS.
    Very good, working condition
A nice pair of very old clamps from my father--he was a woodworker and model/pattern maker for the US Navy (WWII) and used these clamps for many years. These are heavy, and well made--the jaws open a maximum of 37", and there are 23 adjusting notches for the spring-loaded lower jaw. The upper jaw is cranked with the wooden handle, and allows about 4" of tightening.
No maker is shown, but they are marked 562 and 5 on the upper jaw and 3 (for 3 feet long?) on the metal bar.
