“When Barking Coughs Accompany Colds... “ NALDECON-CX
From the fine folks at Bristol Labs. Fantastically detailed advertising figure from the early 1980's of a well-dressed dog holding up a clenched gloved hand to cover a cough. This figurine is a pharmaceutical rep promotional mascot given to doctors prescribing the drug Naldecon, which is an antihistamine and decongestant prescribed for coughs.
As this is a medicine designed for people, I believe the message is that the well-dressed person feels like a dog because of their barking cough.
It measures 5“ x 3“ and is an excellent original condition with minimal signs of handling. The paint is intact and it has a felt bottom. It looks and feels to be a very high quality casting and is either solid or weighted.
